L-glutamine is a non-essential amino acid, which is a main component protein in muscle tissue for growing and rebuilding muscles. It is a source of cellular energy, along with glucose. It is a component of protein synthesis.
It is found in crab, shrimp, blue mussels, and clams among others.

Solubility: semi soluble in water
