Spirulina 60%, human food grade
A superfood and bait colouring (dark) ingredient. A blue-green microalgae commonly called Spirulina which grows naturally in lakes and waterways. It supports and feeds many natural organisms within inland waters thus improving the food population of any water where it is present. Spirulina is extremely rich in the antioxidant Beta Carotene which enables carp and fish in general, to effectively fight diseases and biological challenges, allowing weight gains to be maximized. It is the highest naturally occurring protein food that contains all the essential amino acids and most of the non-essential ones. Also very rich in minerals (Iron), Vitamins (B12), GLA and trace elements. This is why carp/fish see water plants as a major food source, interesting to use also in wintertime.
It has a protein content of a minimal 60% which is very easily digestible, with around 90% of it being totally digestible by carp.
